Arena delivers for County Promotion Celebrations
The Motorpoint Arena Nottingham, the East Midlands leading live entertainment venue is proud to announce the successful execution of a large-scale catering event completed at 24hrs notice, demonstrating the arena’s flexibility, professionalism, and commitment to delivering outstanding customer experiences.
With Notts County Football Club confirming their promotion to League 1 on the 25th May, organisers needed to mobilise to arrange celebrations for the club and their fans. Nottinghamshire County Council turned to the Arena’s catering team to provide food & refreshments for the club’s players and officials. Facing an unexpected catering challenge just a day before the event, Motorpoint Arena’s catering team mobilised its culinary, logistics, and service teams to coordinate and deliver a seamless dining experience for more than 100 guests.
Despite the accelerated turnaround, guests enjoyed a full-service catering experience featuring an afternoon tea buffet, all prepared and delivered with the high standards the Motorpoint Arena is known for.

The team worked around the clock to deliver every detail on time. Both the club and the council praised the event’s smooth execution, high-quality service, and excellent food and drink presentation.
