GEM RADIO ANNOUNCED AS OUR OFFICIAL MEDIA PARTNER

Gem Radio announced as our official media partner

  • The partnership will provide Gem listeners and arena audiences with the chance to win tickets to the biggest artists coming to Nottingham.
  • Motorpoint Arena will support fundraising for Gem charity Cash4Kids.
  • The partnership will create cross promotional activity on air, online and in person at the arena.

Nottingham’s premier live music venue, Motorpoint Arena, has announced that East Midlands award-winning radio station Gem has been signed as Official Media Partner for another 3 years.

As the venue’s Official Media Partner, Gem will create bespoke content, including features and competitions, across its on-air and online platforms to engage listeners all year round.

Building on the success of previous events the Arena will host an exclusive party for Gem listeners hosted by Jo & Sparky at Breakfast when Busted perform on Friday 15th September. The competition will be launched on Gem late August.

The agreement will not only help the radio station to reach new audiences, but there will also be fundraising activities and charity collections to help raise funds for Gem charity, Cash4Kids, which helps children that need it most across the UK.

Motorpoint Arena Nottingham’s Chief Executive, Martin Ingham, said “Gem is a great partner for the Motorpoint Arena to be able to bring our events to the attention of our audiences. The fact that Gem presenters are always up for a laugh aligns very well with our great events that bring people such joyous and memorable experiences.”

From the Gem Breakfast show, Jo said: “We’re thrilled to be media partner with the Motorpoint Arena. I’m there all the time anyway seeing the likes of Peter Kay and Michael Buble, plus all those younger cooler acts that I can’t think of right now.”

Followed by Sparky: “We love being partners with the Motorpoint Arena. It allows us to give our listeners tickets to the biggest gigs in the East Midlands. But please don’t forget that we’re artists too because we DJ’d ahead of the JLS gig a couple of years ago. I’ve still got my backstage pass.”
