Located in the heart of Nottingham city centre, the Motorpoint Arena Nottingham is easily accessible by all methods of transport.
The Motorpoint Arena Nottingham is less than 30 minutes from the A52 and located in the heart of Nottingham city centre, making it easily accessible by car. Brown tourist signs are visible on all major routes into the city to guide you to the venue.

During popular events the closest car parks to the Arena will be the busiest, and will have longer queue times. Please allow extra time for queues, or find an alternative car park on our

Please note: there are ongoing road works from 13th August – 8 October 2018 on streets near the Motorpoint Arena Car Park which may cause delays and queues. Please check your route before your next event and leave yourself plenty of time to park.
The nearest tram stop to the Arena is the Lace Market stop on Fletcher Gate, which is just a three minute walk from the venue – making it a convenient and green way to get to the city centre!
Trams run at least every 7 minutes until midnight. In addition, there are seven Park & Ride sites with 5000+ spaces, conveniently located close to major roads on the outskirts of the city: Clifton just off the A453, Toton Lane just off junction 25 of the M1, Phoenix Park just off the M1 Junction 26, Hucknall just off Junction 27 of the M1, Moor Bridge just off the A611 south of Hucknall, Wilkinson Street just off the ring road in Basford and The Forest just off Gregory Boulevard.
Arena ticket holders are able to purchase a discounted event ticket for £2 on all tram ticket machines - you must be able to provide a valid event ticket on request. You can find out more, including maps of each location and a journey planner at www.thetram.net.
Long-distance and local bus services operate into Nottingham’s two main bus stations; Broadmarsh and Victoria, which are a ten minute walk from the Arena. Several Nottingham City Transport (NCT) bus services drop you right outside the venue and Trent Barton has several bus services which run past it - visit their websites for timetable information.
Please note: On Sunday 9 July 2017, Broadmarsh bus station closed to make way for a new bus station and car park. The work is expected to last for two years, and during that time bus services will relocate to streets surrounding the bus station and train station. Nottingham train station is a 10 minute walk from the Arena, or a very short taxi ride. East Midlands Trains operate regular trains to and from Nottingham, visit eastmidlandstrains.co.uk for timetable and fare information.
