Position: Executive Personal Assistant
Hours: 40 hours per week -  Permanent

We are the East Midlands premier entertainment venue in the heart of the vibrant city centre of Nottingham; we host world class live music, comedy and family events, as well as a variety of ice sports events including being the proud home to the Nottingham Panthers ice hockey team. We have a passion for events, a passion for developing our talent within the company and are looking for an experienced, hard-working Executive Personal Assistant to join our amazing team.
 
The role will be to take a proactive approach in supporting the CEO and the Commercial Director, across the full spectrum of secretarial, administrative and operational support functions.
 
To apply for this role, you will need to have exceptional administrative and organisational skills with highly developed attention to detail, have effective verbal and written communication skills including accurate minute taking and proof-reading skills. You will have diary management experience, experience of working with senior managers and/or directors, experience in organising travel and accommodation and strong IT skills including Microsoft packages including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

The National Ice Centre is looking for enthusiastic outgoing people to join the Public Skating team in providing a diverse range of customers with a world class customer service experience leaving them wanting to have a skating journey with us with us again and again.
 
Applicants who are proactive, approachable, customer focused and committed to working in a versatile and respected business required. Casual positions available including weekday, evenings, weekend, and bank holiday shifts.
 
On the job training is provided and development opportunities within the business are available and encouraged. No skating experience is required as we offer the chance to learn to skate on the job.
 
Experience working within a customer focused role desirable but not essential.

Position: Senior Events Manager
Hours: Full Time (40 hours per week)
Salary: Competitive 


We are the East Midlands premier entertainment venue in the heart of the vibrant city centre of Nottingham; we host world class live music, comedy and family events, as well as a variety of ice sports events including being the proud home to the Nottingham Panthers ice hockey team. We have a passion for events, a passion for developing our talent within the company and are looking for an experienced, hard-working Senior Events Manager who can convert their passion for live events into success.
 
You will have experience of successfully managing large-scale events, be comfortable with both the technical elements of live gigs, and have the ability to communicate with a variety of stakeholders; from promoters to production crews to security, ticketing, and front of house management. You will be the representative for your team at our regular Management Team Meetings so must be comfortable delivering presentations on event-related topics and be able to provide insightful suggestions and recommendations on non-event related activities.
 
You will have demonstrable leadership qualities, and not only will you have a vision of how your team will be successful, you will be able to communicate that vision to your key stakeholders. If you have a true passion for live events, have the technical knowledge to help plan, prepare for and run an event at a 10,000 capacity arena, and don’t mind working evenings and weekends, we want to hear from you. An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Events Crew.

You will be responsible for the conversion of the arena. The job involves heavy manual work and therefore you need to be physically strong and generally fit to be able to cope with the workload.

Our National Catering Team needs someone with the skills and personality to thrive in a lively and enjoyable team environment with varied and dynamic workloads. We are currently looking to recruit a zero-hour Hospitality Supervisor to assist in the running of several different hospitality areas on an event by event basis.
 
The successful candidate must ensure that high standards of cleanliness are maintained at all times & that excellent customer service is provided throughout.
 
The ideal candidate will have experience working within the hospitality environment, have excellent communication skills, have outstanding customer service skills and excellent attention to detail.
