Restaurant Co-ordinator

Hours: 40 hours per week
Rate of pay: £22,000 per annum

We are looking for a professional Restaurant Co-ordinator to amaze the patrons of our establishment with excellent service for our world-famous event nights. Your work will be an important factor to a client’s contentment in one of the biggest projects ever undertaken by the venue. The project entails a brand-new restaurant & hospitality experience. The goal is to expand our clientele and reputation to ensure long-term success and drive new and return business for financial success. The role will rely on your ability to gain business, and then deliver an unforgettable experience to guests to get them returning time and time again. As the business grows, this role will grow thus enhancing future rewards & commissions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Full awareness of all menu items, their recipes, methods of production and presentation standards.
  • To cover sickness and follow policies regarding absenteeism for the whole team.
  • To always lead by example.
  • To ensure areas of work are correctly set up for service.
  • To ensure staff are fully briefed ready for service.
  • Ability to work alongside other team members such as Management, Chefs, Supervisors, waiting on staff and KP’s to achieve a common goal.

Position: Assistant Merchandise Manager

We’re looking for a driven Assistant Merchandise Manager to join our busy Merchandise team. Using your existing team management and supervising skills, you will motivate and make effective use of staff to deliver world-class quality service to customers and achieve required revenue targets.

The ideal candidate will be IT literate and have excellent written and verbal communication skills as well as strong numerical skills and financial acumen. You must also have good knowledge of merchandising and stock control.

The ability to work flexibly, to include shift patterns up to and past 1 a.m., including weekends and bank holiday is essential.

Key Responsibilities include:
 
  1. Undertake creating and maintaining merchandise settlements.
  1. Managing a large team in a fast-paced environment.
  1. Controlling the movement of stock between the stands/selling areas.
  1. Responsibility for making decisions regarding the number of stands open, staffing level adjustments and stock levels.
  1. Ensure daily rotas are always managed to ensure adequate cover for the Merchandise teams.
  1. Be flexible in working hours with shift patterns up to and past 1 a.m.
  1. Be responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely set up and pricing of all merchandise to achieve optimal sales.
  1. Communicate between venue management any concerns or issues.
  1. Working in possible extreme weather conditions.
